Our Pastors
Dr Ed Nelson, has been in ministry for many years and has served in many capacities. He has been a pastor, church planter, itinerant evangelist, and a Bible teacher and conference speaker.
He has diligently worked at promoting missions in the churches in the U.S.A and has served on various mission boards and preached in many countries of the world helping missionaries. He labored in the area of Christian education, having founded and led the Silver State Baptist School in Lakewood, CO., for 26 years. He also served for many years on the Executive Committee of the American Association of Christian Schools.
He became pastor of Harvest Baptist Church in March of 2007. His desire is to lead Harvest Baptist Church to be a Biblical church emphasizing evangelism, holy Christian living, and missions. The church will be characterized by expository Bible preaching, concerned evangelism to the lost, and a traditional type of service.
He and his wife Guyla have five children, fourteen grandchildren and two great granchildren.
Pastor Josh completed his college degree in Bible from Maranatha Baptist Bible College in 2004. Shortly after graduation he married Priscilla and began graduate school at Bob Jones University. After a year of grad work he accepted the call of his home church Highlands Baptist Church to become their Youth Pastor.
After 4 and a half years of service at Highlands Josh and Priscilla moved to Castle Rock and became Assistant Pastor at Harvest Baptist Church in January of 2009.
He remains on staff at Highlands Baptist Church as their Youth Pastor. And combines the youth ministries of the two Church's.
The Musgrave's have 2 girls Karis and Talitha.
